New Pharmacy Approved in Bridlington

In November 2012 we were instructed by a pharmacy contractor in Bridlington to try to secure a new pharmacy for an area near the Bridlington Hospital. We had already secured one new contract in Bridlington some years ago and we thought our client was in a strong position for this application too. Unfortunately, another company applied to open within the hospital grounds and although we argued that the other applicant could not secure premises or open, the NHSLA approved the other application rather than our client’s.

That wasn’t the end of the battle, as earlier this year we re-applied on behalf of our client as we still felt sure that the other applicant would not be able to open. Getting the timing right for the new application was crucial and we are pleased to report that we were successful this time round and our client is looking forward to opening the pharmacy as soon as his premises have been registered with the GPhC.
